PHAROPACK: GOODBYE TO ZINC COFFINS!
The Pharopack coffin is a five-layer special film made of metals, plastics and adhesives, which simplifies the process for undertakers who want to transport a deceased person across borders safely and in a 100% airtight manner.
Until now, repatriation abroad usually took place in an expensive zinc coffin, which required laborious soldering and was then placed inside a wooden coffin, which was then transported to the country of burial by car or plane. Furthermore, the existing zinc coffin options limited the choice of coffin to a flying coffin or a few other coffin models.
In 1995, a new system was developed in the USA. With this special film, patented in the USA, undertakers can now safely forgo the use of a zinc coffin. Thanks to a very cost-effective process that requires no consumables such as gas, solder, or adhesive, it is now possible to seal bodies absolutely safely and easily.
We have now adapted this system for the European market and have sold it very successfully so far.
For an international transfer, you'll need approximately 2.10 meters of film, which equates to a final price of just €34.52 for a 72-meter roll, plus a one-time purchase of sealing pliers (starting at €35). Other consumables are completely eliminated. This saves the undertaker approximately €350* for each transfer.
